In his first signature furniture series, Grand Rapids, Michigan–based designer Jeffrey Roberts pays homage to his father—a veteran of the Fisher Body plant in Detroit—with Gear, an industrial-style lamp table with leather inlaid top and a central pedestal composed of wooden discs that are customizable with various paint and finish options.
The Jeffery Roberts Furniture Collection was previewed at the April High Point Market.
For the collection, Roberts selected 12 furniture designs from his body of work. “I knew it was time to design a collection because many times over the past 30 years, I couldn’t find what I was looking for in the marketplace. I would just draw it up and have it made. This enormous library of ideas and individual pieces is what inspired the collection,” said Roberts. “I selected Kindel Grand Rapids to engineer and build my designs because their quality and craftsmanship is second to none.”

Upper-end case goods and upholstery manufacturer Kindel Grand Rapids will be showing its new Jeffery Roberts collection at the New York Design Center for the first time and also is expanding the same collection for the upcoming October High Point Market.

Throughout a career spanning more than three decades, Jeffery Roberts has expressed himself through fine art, interior design, fashion design, and furniture design. In April, Kindel Grand Rapidsdebuted its Jeffery Roberts Collection at the High Point Market, the largest home furnishings industry trade show in the world.
